Jacques was born in 1966 in Kaatsheuvel, where the imagery of Anton Pieck nurtured his early love for visual storytelling and photography. Since 2007, he has been capturing the world through his camera, with an eye for both the raw and the wondrous aspects of everyday life.

Quvici is proud to collaborate with Jacques, an award-winning photographer who has gained international recognition, including at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and with accolades such as ‘Portrait of the Year.’ His street photography resonates deeply, evokes emotion, and invites viewers to look with feeling.

For more than 30 years, Jacques travelled the world as a backpacker, from South America to Africa. These journeys form the soul of his photographic work: honest, intense, and full of stories.
